E-Learning as an advanced form of learning supported by various technological principles and tools became a point of interest of both academicians and practitioners several years ago. Current literature contains mostly successful stories of its utilization in the business environment highlighting processes and decisions which should be done and make. Rarely are mentioned negative experiences related processes and decision that should not be realized. Hence, it is difficult to fully and explicitly define related bottlenecks or pitfalls. The aim of this paper is to assemble particular fragments and provide readers with a summary of general barriers of e-Learning implementation in small and medium-sized organizations together with recommendations how these barriers can be overcome. Therefore, this position paper provides basic literature overview of conditions and barriers to successful e-Learning implementation in the business settings. The investigation of published case studies reveals that there are several barriers, which need to be taken into the consideration to support fruitful usage of e-Learning technologies in the workplace. The significance of the study is that it addresses one of the vital issues of our time, it provides\r\na model to evaluate the quality of e-commerce systems and electronic services are\r\ncomprehensive, objective and flexible to reach the ideal model. The proposed model can be\r\nused to compare the quality of e-commerce systems, or to improve the image and\r\nperformance of a particular e-commerce systems or to provide reference guide for designers\r\nof the sites where their determination to new sites.\r\nTo achieve the objectives of this study the researcher depended on two types of data:\r\nSecondary data: included reference books, periodicals and studies on the Internet. Primary\r\ndata: included questionnaire designed for this purpose and was distributed over a sample\r\nstudy. For the purpose of testing hypotheses the study relied on statistical package for Social\r\nSciences (SPSS) by using appropriate statistical methods. These are: Descriptive Statistic\r\nmeasures and Anova analysis test\r\nResults of the study showed that there is an impact of technical attributes, managerial\r\nattributes, and human interface attributes on the performance and quality of e-commerce\r\nsystems. This paper aims to study the key factors affecting the process of business succession and post succession of\r\nfamily firms in Thailand. The purpose of this research paper is to identify the level of impacts and classify into\r\nfour determinants i.e. the personal factor, the intra-family relationship factors, the context factors, and the\r\nfinancial factors. The paper also aims to study the relationship between the four factors and the post succession\r\nperformance of family firms in Thailand. The methods use to assess the level of impacts of the factors on\r\nsuccession process of family firms in Thailand is by using the method of Structural Equation Model (SEM). The\r\nresults of the SEM are based from the sample size 374 family business owners across various industries in\r\nThailand. Context factors and personal factors are the two factors that have the highest levels of impact on the\r\neffectiveness of the succession process in comparison to the financial factors and the intra-family relationship.\r\nThe results from this research paper also indicate that the succession process and the post-succession\r\nperformance are positively related with a high level of impact....
The purpose of the study was to determine the perceptions of small, medium and micro enterprise\r\n(SMMEs) owners regarding the implementation of the New Companies Act. A quantitative approach was\r\nfollowed in the study where data were collected via structured questionnaires on a sampled of 335\r\nSMME owners from various provinces. The results indicate that most of the participants are not aware\r\nof the companies Act and its compliance requirements. It further emerged that no consultation and\r\nawareness made by the government or its agencies when the phasing out of close corporations was\r\nmade. It was found that there are different perceptions on the implementation in terms of qualifications\r\nlevels. It is thus recommended that prior to the implementation of the Act, a thorough consultation and\r\nawareness be made to the businesses. Finally, it is recommended that sensitisation workshops be\r\nconducted among SMME owners to ensure that the business owners have full understanding of the\r\nAct so that they are able to comply with its provisions....
